Roy Thomson Hall is located just next to St. Andrew subway station on the University Line.

Streetcar

The King streetcar (Route 504) stops at the corner of King Street & Simcoe Street.

Roy Thomson Hall is a short walk (5-6 blocks) north and west of Union Station. It can also be reached by subway (one stop from Union Station to St. Andrew).

Roy Thomson Hall Garage

The underground garage at Roy Thomson Hall is convenient, clean, brightly lit and well signed. There are two levels with combined capacity for 377 cars. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The garage entrance is on Wellington Street, west of Simcoe Street.

Hours: 6am to 12:30am daily. The garage is closed holidays.

Accessible Parking Permit Options

Please note there are no reserved accessible parking spots in the surface lot, there are reserved spots but no designated accessible spots.

Spaces can still be reserved by calling the security office at ext 375.

Rates are $10.00 weekday evenings after 6pm and on weekends, $14.00 day rate 6am-6pm Mon - Fri or $3.75 every half hour.

The meter is located in the northeast corner of the lot and only accepts credit cards or coins (no bills or debit)

As there is no public access via the Artist Entrance all patrons must enter via the Simcoe Street doors so it is recommended that patrons with mobilty issues are dropped off at the Simcoe doors before parking on the surface lot.

Other Nearby Parking Lots

MetroCentre: Parking is available in the MetroCentre underground parking garage. Access is through the same Wellington Street entrance as the Roy Thomson Hall parking garage. This parking garage has approximately 500 spaces and is easily accessible by foot through the MetroCentre concourse to Roy Thomson Hall. We recommend parking in the pink section of the MetroCentre garage and access the main floor of MetroCentre [M] by elevator.

• Wellington and Simcoe streets (East side, underground)
• King and John Streets (underground)
• University Avenue between King and Front Streets (underground)

The potential for traffic congestion in the neighbourhood, especially following concerts, is high and delays may be experienced in exiting our parking facilities. Concert patrons may wait in the lobby areas until traffic eases.

Please note:

The area of Simcoe St. located directly in front of the main doors of Roy Thomson Hall is designated as a NO STANDING area to allow for the dropping off and picking up of patrons. Rush hour regulations apply to the entire area from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm. All parked vehicles with or without a handicap permit may be tagged and/or towed during that time. The exception of 2 NO PARKING areas located to the north and south of the main door area permits patrons with valid Handicap Parking Permits to parking in those areas only during non-rush hour periods without risk of being tagged or towed.
